Solar Flares are picking up in frequency and intensity as 1 active Sun Spot rotates towards Earth, but so far it’s only tossing C Class Solar Flares. We also have another active Sun Spot moving into its Farewell Volley position, so chances are good it’ll toss a few M Class Solar Flares our way as it departs. Proton Saturation is a bit jostled, but staying in the Normal range.
.
Whatever CME was suppressing our Solar Wind Speeds last night has moved off, and we’re sitting in steady Coronal Hole Winds that have kept our Solar Wind Speeds jostled in the 500 km/sec range, plus causing a couple HP = 5 (G1) Geomagnetic Storms. We should see calming conditions over the next 3 days, but we’ve got a new, smaller CH HSS heading our way in about 4 days.
.
Electron Saturation is spending more time over its Alert Threshold, even crossing the 10K pfu line for a few hours. I doubt Electron Saturation will have a chance to drop below its Alert Threshold for several days.
