5/20: From Connie Howell

Solar Activity is still calming down, but Solar Wind Speed’s being tenacious at holding on to the >500 km/sec range. The CME that arrived today didn’t do anything to drop those speeds. While the CME did keep Electron Saturation from exceeding the 10K pfu line, Electron Saturation stayed >1K pfu. It looks like Electron Saturation will drop below its Alert Threshold overnight, and NOAA’s saying it’ll stay below its Alert Threshold for the next 3 days.
.
Solar Flares stayed in the B- to C-Class range today and NOAA’s saying they’ll stay in that range for the next 3 days.
.
Proton Saturation’s holding steady at Normal levels.
