Today was fairly quiet – C Class Solar Flares, calm Geomagnetics, Electron and Proton Saturation below their Alert Thresholds.
.
But the new CH HSS arrived last night, keeping Solar Wind Speeds and Solar Wind Density jostled, but Solar Wind Speed’s mainly hovered around the 400 km/sec range since last night’s post. Most Solar Wind forecasts indicate Solar Wind Speed will stay a little over 400 km/sec until at least 6/1.
.
No Geomagnetic Storms are expected with this new CH HSS.
.
While we had C Class Solar Flares today, NOAA’s raised our chances for M Class Solar Flares due to an exiting Sun Spot and an incoming Sun Spot.
