Today was a quiet day across all measures we monitor!

NOAA’s expecting the incoming CH HSS and CME Sideswipe to change one of these measures tomorrow. Solar Wind Speed will rise – the UK’s Met Office is anticipating into the 500 km/sec range. While the incoming CME is still expected tomorrow, the Solar Wind chart it may have arrived around 3.00p CDT with the 380 km/sec Solar Wind Speeds, and slightly increased Solar Wind Density that fell at 7.37p CDT today…? We’ll find out tomorrow, but nobody’s expecting the CH HSS + CME combo to cause Geomagnetic Storms in the middle latitudes (middle N. America). The northern U.S. states have a 50% chance of HP = 6 (G2) Geomagnetic Storms tomorrow night.

We’ve got a new Sun Spot coming our way and it’s got a lot of arcs on it. It’ll be visible over the next 2 days, so we’ll see how it acts.
