8/30 Recap

Solar Activity was pretty quiet across most measures we follow, except Solar Wind Speed which is still slightly hovering around the 400 km/sec line, though it is dropping into the 300 km/sec range periodically. Most forecasts indicate the next 3 days will be similarly quiet – the M Class Solar Flare Watch has been dropped and Solar Wind Speed should stay below 400 km/sec all day soon!

The only solar feature we monitor that may become problematic is Electron Saturation, which is already approaching its Alert Threshold during the noon hours, so may cross that line during the next 3 days.
