9/11 Recap

Today was fairly quiet. We had B Class Solar Flares, low HP Index and Proton Saturation stayed at Normal levels. Solar Wind Speed dropped a little, but stayed in the 400 km/sec range. NOAA’s saying all 3 of these measures are supposed to be quiet for the next 3 days, but we’ve got a few CMEs due overnight 9/14-9/15 which are likely to bring some jostling.
.
Electron Saturation got a boost and crossed the >10K pfu line today! NOAA’s expecting Electron Saturation will likely cross at least the 1K pfu line again. They’re expecting Electron Saturation to drop on 9/13, and I expect it’ll rise above 1K pfu again on 9/14.
