9/3 recap

Today was a fairly quiet day with Solar Wind Speed staying below 400 km/sec, but Electron Saturation continues to hover around its Alert Threshold.

I need to share that this evening’s forecast is incomplete. It looks like NOAA had some technical issues today, based on their website, and the evening forecasts haven’t been posted yet. Their forecasts for 9/4 and 9/5 should be the same, but just assume there’s question marks by everything in the 9/6 column. lol So, having said that, the next 3 days should be pretty calm based on info I can get from UK’s MetOffice and the University of Reading, but the incoming slow CME and southern CH HSS maaaay cause Geomagnetic Storms sometime 9/6-9/7. We’ll see what NOAA has to say tomorrow.

In the interim, it looks like Electron Saturation’s going to be persist, so it may be several more days before it drops below it Alert Threshold. Solar Flares should stay in the C Class range for at least a few more days. Also in the interim, something messed with the fonts in my Forecast chart tonight, and tbh, idk what! I’ll try to figure it out tomorrow! 😅
