M5.94 and rising

AR 4479 is ripping off a BIG one–M5.94 and rising, likely will top out below X-class–but a CME appears to be launching off as well. While the active region is no longer facing Earth, it is possible a wide eruption may contain some Earth-directed components. Vince Ledvina
