High Speed Solar Wind Approaching
A massive stream of high-speed solar wind flowing from the enormous Earth-facing coronal hole is expected to reach our planet over the next 24 hours, increasing the potential for geomagnetic storm activity.
If conditions align as the solar wind arrives, Earth’s magnetic field could become unsettled, bringing the possibility of auroras at lower latitudes along with minor impacts to radio communications and satellite operations.
