Space Weather was calmer today. 😊

We had only C Class Solar Flares today but we’re still in range for 2 Exiting Sun Spots, 1 Sun Spot in the Sun-Earth Magnetic Line, and 3 Incoming Sun Spots that are exchanging plasma and keeping the largest of the 3 relatively active, so we’ll see how all those dynamics play out

Our Geomagnetics were quite calm and should stay that way for several days.

Solar Wind Speeds dropped into the 400 km/sec range overnight and should get into the 300 km/sec range tomorrow. We should stay in that range until 8/26-8/27 when the next CH HSS arrives.

Electron Saturation is steadily hovering over its Alert Threshold, and likely will continue to do so for 3-4 more days. Proton Saturation is still at Moderate levels from yesterday’s long duration M Class Solar Flare, but the lack of additional M Class Solar Flares today caused Proton Saturation to start trending downward. What this measure does over the next few days is entirely dependent on whether or not we have additional M Class Solar Flares, and NOAA’s providing a 45% chance we will, so we’ll see…
