8/25 Recap
![]()
Good evening, folks! I’m gonna have to apologize for the incomplete post this evening. I’ll work on getting more detailed info to y’all tomorrow, but I wanted to make sure y’all were up-to-date on incoming phenomena. In the interim, and very briefly:
We had 5 M Class Solar Flares today, 1 generated a CME that’ll arrive at Earth on 8/27 or 8/28. It’s unusual, but we also had a C Class Solar Flare toss a CME at Earth, it’s also expected to arrive 8/27 or 8/28. (I’ll get more details on those tomorrow.) I’ve provided the chance for Geomagnetic Storms in the middle and northern latitudes in today’s Forecast chart.
.
Electron Saturation’s still hovering at its Alert Threshold.
.
We’re gonna have some interesting views of the Full Moon several hours 8/27 to 8/28 as it experiences an Almost Full Lunar Eclipse. I provided some updated info on that, with a map, in an earlier post.
