8/31 recap

Today was calmer in Solar Activity. The Sun only produced B- to C-Class Solar Flares, our HP Index dropped to HP < 1.0 this evening, and Solar Wind continued to slowly fall. All three of these measures should continue those trends over the next 3 days and we should have Solar Wind Speeds <400 km/sec beginning tomorrow as we finish exiting the CH HSS. Electron Saturation is the only measure that might have been a bit annoying, climbing over its Alert Threshold for several hours today; NOAA believes it’ll do that each of the 3 coming days. Proton Saturation is steady at Normal levels. . Solar Flare Conditions C Class Solar Flares .
