10/4 Recap
![]()
Today was a bit of a jostling and uncomfortable day, where Solar Wind Speeds exceeded 500 km/sec and we were in and out of Geomagnetic Storms most of the day. I’ve uploaded charts in an earlier for those who more details on that. NOAA’s forecast indicates we’ll be out of the Geomagnetic Storms within a few hours, but HUXt says it’ll be about 3 days to get Solar Wind Speeds back below 400 km/sec. Electron Saturation is likely to cross its Alert Threshold beginning tomorrow.
.
Solar Flares are staying in the B Class range. Proton Saturation’s normal.
