10/15 Recap
![]()
Today was mainly quiet.
.
We had C Class Solar Flares, which are becoming more frequent as the Sun Spot classified as capable of X Class Solar Flares moves closer to the Sun-Earth Magnetic Line. NOAA’s only slightly increased the chances for M Class Solar Flares recently because Sun Spots do normally calm down in the Sun-Earth Magnetic Line for about 5 days.
.
Our HP Index stayed comfortable.
.
Solar Wind Speeds are still a bit high in the 400 km/sec range, but they should be back into the 300 km/sec range in a couple of days.
.
Electron Saturation spent a few hours hovering over its Alert Threshold and will likely do this at least 2 more days.
.
Proton Saturation is normal and should stay that way unless the Sun Spot that’s capable of X Class Solar Flares starts tossing stronger Solar Flares.
