G2 (Moderate) geomagnetic storm levels were reached in response to coronal hole high speed stream influences.

A CME as part of a filament eruption occurred on 1 Apr. Initial analyses suggests an arrival just ahead and mostly north of Earth’s orbit. However, some outlier model runs hint at some glancing influences 4 Apr. SWPC continues to evaluate & any Watch decisions will be made later.

Interesting day. Tinnitus has been very quiet the last 24 hours or so. Now with the solar winds over 600, I expected the high pitch to show up again, but so far nothing! And last night despite the full moon, I slept deeply with very little discomfort aside from aching feet from a passing storm.
