Spectacular CME

A spectacular coronal mass ejection (CME) is occurring following the M1.86 solar flare ejected from the 4461 solar spot! It may have components heading towards Earth, but it’s too early to say for sure. The recent large CME is a full halo (shock) with the bulk headed mostly southeast of Earth. We may get clipped! Awaiting models for strength and timing of impact…
Awesome coronagraph signature. Impact predicted by NASA for around June 8, 6 UT. This is SUNDAY NIGHT. The CME is fast > 1000 km/s as modeled. Full halo shock, bulk going SE. No official storm watch yet, but G2-G3 is what I would expect.
