Solar Flares mainly stayed in the B Class range today and are expected to do that for the next 3 days.

Our HP Index was also very calm, and is expected to stay in the green despite the incoming CH HSS.

Solar Wind Speed didn’t move much today, staying mainly in the 400 km/sec range. NOAA’s anticipating the incoming CH HSS will take Solar Wind Speeds into the 500 km/sec. The UK’s MetOffice is expecting Solar Wind Speeds to begin dropping on 6/20.

Electron Saturation dropped into Normal levels for only about 5 hours early this morning. While the measurements are still hovering over Electron Saturation’s Alert Threshold, they didn’t rise above that line today. NOAA’s expecting they’ll stay in the Normal – Moderate range beginning tomorrow. Proton Saturation is holding steady at Normal levels.
