7/15 Recap

Solar Wind’s the only thing that’s been irksome today. A CME arrived around 5.00p CDT last night, but it looks like it’s already passed, and a second one might be arriving at the time of this post. Last night’s CME raised Solar Wind Density as high as 17.3/cm3 and Solar Wind Speed as high as 504 km/sec @ 4.08a CDT this morning. Since those peaks both Solar Wind measures have dropped to ~4.5/cm3 since noon today, and 422 km/sec @ 5.30p CDT today. At the time of this post Solar Wind Density is slightly rising (~5.0/cm3) as is Solar Wind Speed (475 km/sec).

Everything else has been within comfortable levels, and is expected to stay that way for the next 3 days. Solar Wind Speed’s expected to be more comfortable beginning tomorrow evening.
