8/8 Solar Storm

An extremely slow-moving solar storm is passing over Earth today and I’ve been waiting to see if it might become newsworthy. It has taken a while, but Earth is finally responding in a promising way. In the last hour or so AE has begun to hover around ~1000 nT and stay there. In a general sense, this means we are finally remaining at storm-level and aurora might finally build enough to dip down into mid-latitudes!
