Solar Storms Peppering the Earth
Our Sun is peppering the Earth in solar storms and flares this week. The big focus is Region 4493, which has become a X-flare player and totally reshaped the nearby coronal hole. Right now, some of its initial spunk has leveled off, but it will continue to be a threat for radio blackouts until it rotates out of view in about a week.
