Rare quake in Spain
Spain started shaking before the sun came up.
A shallow M5.0 earthquake struck near Granada, sending people rushing from their homes and into the streets as more than 200 emergency calls poured in.
And the shaking didn’t end there.
Nearly 50 aftershocks followed through the morning.
Buildings damaged. Vehicles hit. An emergency plan activated.
For southern Spain, this was a big one.
