Solar Storm Conditions May Be Developing

A massive coronal hole is now turning directly toward Earth, sending streams of high-speed solar wind racing through space toward our planet.
Forecasters are watching for possible G1-G2 geomagnetic storm conditions beginning around May 14, which could trigger stronger auroral activity across parts of the Northern Hemisphere — including some mid-latitude regions.
