ENTIRE ISLAND NATION WENT DARK DURING A GEOMAGNETIC STORM More than 2.8 million people were suddenly left without power after an unexpected island-wide blackout struck Jamaica shortly after 9 PM local time. As officials worked to restore electricity, many couldn’t help but notice the timing. […]
AR 4461 produced an M1.8 flare at 06/1401 UTC. This event was associated with a filament eruption and subsequent CME of which analysis and modeling is currently underway. An Earth-directed component is currently anticipated and would likely arrive on June 8th by rough estimates. –NOAA […]
A spectacular coronal mass ejection (CME) is occurring following the M1.86 solar flare ejected from the 4461 solar spot! It may have components heading towards Earth, but it’s too early to say for sure. The recent large CME is a full halo (shock) with the […]

THE SUN JUST SHOCKED SCIENTISTS THREE MAJOR FLARES IN ONE DAY! Most forecasts suggested this solar region wasn’t a major threat. Then, within just a few hours, the Sun unleashed an M9.3 flare, an M7.7 flare, and finally an X1.0 flare an incredibly rare burst […]
In about 24 hours, Earth may take a G4 solar impact due to the convergence of several CMEs known as a cannibal CME. We won’t know until it hits –Scott Compton —————- A promising outlook is unfolding with the HUXt forecast indicating a potential double […]
X-Class Solar Flare And CME Inbound June 3rd 2026! Solar wind / CME propagation model (WSA-ENLIL) from AR 4455, showing how solar wind structures and potential ejecta move through the inner solar system over several days, with Earth’s position and the IMF (magnetic field) geometry. […]
NOAA forecasters are predicting strong geomagnetic storms this week as a rare ‘anti-Hale’ sunspot peppers Earth with strong solar flares. The X-class and near-X-class explosions are currently happening every 6 to 8 hours with CMEs expected to reach our planet beginning June 5th. Mid-latitude auroras […]
